Adrien Brody, Patrick Petitjean and the aboriginal way...

I was asked recently by my fabulous friend Jocelyn, Which celebrity I  dream to style?  After the initial shock of trying to choose just one celeb. I decided that  American actor, Adrien Brody was my man...  I chose him because I have been lusting to style him ever since I can remember wanting to be a stylist, probably at the age of 10 years old...
Adrien is such a challenge because his face and body type are such a character already... styling would have to complement that and not over shadow.

So, the first few days of searching for wardrobe ( via Internet) for this gorgeous man was very frustrating. I felt like I was swimming up stream to make something happen, Then I remembered something I had read about the aboriginal culture. When the aboriginese  go on long "spiritual walk abouts" through the deserts of Australia they pray for what they need. food, water, etc. They say thank you for the blessings and assume that it will come.

Since I never shy away from spiritual philosophies, I prayed and thanked and assumed the fashion gods would bless me, and wouldn't you know it.... In the true spirit of spiritualism, a few days later I was blessed! Not only did I find the wardrobe I was looking for, I found it all modeled by one model....the most amazing male model that I have ever laid my eyes on!

Ladies and gents I introduce to you, my wardrobe pics for Adrien Brody, modeled my the great Patrick Patitjean

Yes.. I know it's allot of eye candy to take in and because I like to spoil my readers here is a link to see even more Patrick Petitjean.

Strength In Wardrobe

When I offer my services as a wardrobe stylist, I always find myself offering "Strength In Wardrobe". It's no secret that people judge us instantly by what we are wearing, for those people that can be a waste of time, but for you... If you want it to be...it can be a valuable tool for gaining attention and respect , or representing yourself in a way you want people to precieve you. It also can provide you with self assurance of owning your personal style and give you confidence of plain out being about your shit, if you know what I mean. People can feel that and respond to that. Do you agree? Do you disagree? Have you done this? Do you do this?

This entry was inspired by this photo of Diane Kruger that was in the September 09 issue of Interview Magazine.

The trouser and suspenders are the essential basic of the " Power Look" You can add hats scarves and a number of different style of tops to tone it up or down. Note that the gloves give off a fetish look, I would never style with these gloves for a high profile event, but I would absolutely use this entire look if I was styling for a fetish event... l.o.l.

Here are 10 fall shoe picks from Urban Outfitters, let me know which ones you dig.

Hay all you beautiful babies, I wanted to share some fall trend picks that I scouted from the Two One.

Let us break it down!

Leggings: can be the biggest assist besides shoes that you can invest in for your fall and winter wardrobe. The biggest "DON'T" as far as leggings go this year is a basic non print cotton legging, not unless you are going to the gym or are out at home with no one around you. Enough designers have provided a ton of better textures this year like Lame, twill, or a fabulous skinny stretch dress slack! These are a great basic to pair with dresses, oversized slouch tops and oversized slouched sweaters, They tuck into your fall boots and look fantastic with heels or booties.

As far as tops goes, we have the best of both worlds this fall, the baggy tops and sweaters or tailored tuxedo jackets and vests.

And lets not forget boots and booties, boots and booties, booties booties, booties!

My biggest advise always for original style is adding a piece of vintage to your wardrobe! Vintage accessories make great statement pieces and there is nothing better than saying
"It's Vintage" , when asked about it!

Mag Pie is S.W. Portland is my favorite vintage store, not only because of the good prices and selection, but also because most of my great vintage is sold there!

OK nuff said! Thanx for reading!

Remember to also support local independent shops and vintage stores this fall, not just the 21 and Target,

I love you fashion trend babies... xoxoxx, Glamourbrat

Here goes that link.  And yes this is my wish list and I do accept these items as gifts if you feel like spoiling me;)
